RESOLUTION: 2003-77
SUBJECT: A Resolution changing the expiration date of the terms of the members of the Heritage, Culture & the Arts Commission.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Resolution.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: City Council requested that the expiration date of the terms of the members of certain boards and commissions of the City of Lakewood be made uniform by requiring the terms of service to end on either March 31 or September 30 of the last year of the member's term.
Currently the term of a member of the Heritage, Culture & the Arts Commission ends on either July 1 or July 15 of the last year of the member's term. This ordinance shall change the expiration date of the current members of the Heritage, Culture & the Arts Commission to September 30 of the last year of the member's term.
FUNDING SOURCE: No funding.
