A RESOLUTION

RE-APPOINTING AND APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE LAKEWOOD COMMISSION ON CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND HUMAN RELATIONS

Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. Harry Cullis, 2383 S. Holland Street, Lakewood, Colorado, is hereby re-appointed as a Caucasian member to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations, to serve a term commencing September 23, 2003, to August 26, 2005.

SECTION 2. Ricardo Trujillo, 7761 W. Florida Drive, Lakewood, Colorado, is hereby re-appointed as a Hispanic member to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations, to serve a term commencing September 23, 2003, to August 26, 2005.

SECTION 3. Elzia Sekou, 2058 S. Hoyt Way, Lakewood, Colorado, is hereby appointed as an African-American member to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations, to serve a term commencing September 23, 2003, to August 26, 2005.

SECTION 4. Bruce Smith, 7881 W. Florida Drive, Lakewood, Colorado, is hereby appointed as a Caucasian member to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations, to serve a term commencing September 23, 2003, to August 26, 2005.

SECTION 5. Karen Nakandakare, 2135 S. Bell Court, Lakewood, Colorado, is hereby appointed as an Asian member to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations, to serve a term commencing September 23, 2003, to August 26, 2005.

SECTION 6. Vanita Bellen, 2663 S. Holman Street, Lakewood, Colorado, is hereby appointed as an Asian member to the Lakewood Commission on Cultural Diversity and Human Relations, to serve a term commencing September 23, 2003, to August 26, 2005.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on September 22, 2003, at 7 o'clock p.m. at the Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
