RESOLUTION: 2003-57
SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing Revocable License Agreement with Leslie A. Cook-Everton allowing the fencing of a portion of the City owned West Arkansas Avenue right-of-way which would be maintained by the Licensee until such time as the City needed to use the right-of-way.
ADDRESS: 6590 West Arkansas Avenue.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorization of the requested Revocable License Agreement.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Ms. Cook-Everton, 6590 West Arkansas
Avenue, has requested that the City grant her a Revocable License agreement
in order that she can construct a six (6) foot fence/access gate at the west
end of the limits of the proposed license in order to alleviate the constant
dumping of trash and grass clippings along the City unused portion of the right--of-way.
Ms. Cook-Everton has also agreed, if the City grants the license, to maintain
that portion of the enclosed right-of-way at her own expense. The proposal has
been reviewed by City staff, and is acceptable from the aspect of presenting
no hazards or creating other problems.
RESOLUTION ADOPTION DATE: July 28, 2003.
