A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING A REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD AND LESLIE A. COOK-EVERTON

WHEREAS, Leslie A. Cook-Everton, has requested a Revocable License Agreement from the City of Lakewood to allow placement of a six foot wood fence on land owned by the City as a portion of West Arkansas Avenue; and

WHEREAS, the City wishes to allow said use of the portion of said street right-of-way as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, for installation, maintenance and replacement of a six foot wood fence and the maintenance of the fenced in right-of-way in accordance with the terms and conditions of a Revocable License Agreement issued by the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, a Revocable License Agreement between the City of Lakewood and Leslie A. Cook-Everton, in form approved by the City Attorney, for the use described above of the City-owned street right-of-way described in Exhibit "A" hereto.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on July 28, 2003, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Civic Center South, Lakewood, Colorado.

EXHIBIT "A"

A parcel of land located in the Northwest One-quarter (NW¼) of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 69 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Lakewood, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, more particularly described as follows:

All of that portion of the West Arkansas Avenue right-of-way as shown and platted on the plat of WEST ARKANSAS MANOR SUBDIVISION, the plat of which is recorded in Plat Book 61, at Page 16, of the records of the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder, lying easterly of the northerly extended West line of the East 110.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, said WEST ARKANSAS MANOR SUBDIVISION.

The foregoing legal description was prepared on July 21, 2003, by Ted Van Horn, City of Lakewood, Property Management Division, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226-3127, based upon the recorded subdivision of said WEST ARKANSAS MANOR SUBDIVISION.
