A RESOLUTION

APPOINTING THE MAYOR PRO TEM OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the position of Mayor Pro Tem, due to a resignation and pursuant to City Council procedures, the Mayor has selected Councilwoman Carol Kesselman to fill the vacancy for the balance of the unexpired term as Mayor Pro Tem.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado that:

SECTION 1. Councilwoman Carol Kesselman is hereby appointed Mayor Pro Tem of the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado for the unexpired term extending through November 30, 2003.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on July 14, 2003, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
