RESOLUTION: 2003-24
SUBJECT: Support for the US 6/SH 121 interchange reconstruction Feasibility Study and the Wadsworth Corridor Study being added to the reauthorization of the TEA-21 legislation and appropriation of funds for the study in FY 2004.

FUNDING SOURCE: No local funding requested. Funding would come from FHWA and CDOT.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Every six years the federal statutes for funding transportation programs need to be reauthorized. Rep. Beauprez has requested the City of Lakewood and Jefferson County recommend projects for specific authorization in the new bill. The City is recommending the Feasibility Study for the interchange as our highest priority and supporting Jefferson County's submittal of the corridor feasibility study for all of Wadsworth from C-470 to US 36. Background information was presented at the April 7, 2003 Study Session.
