ORDINANCE: O-2003-34
SUBJECT: Amending the Municipal Code to allow tree contractors licensing to be done by the Forest Crew Leader rather than the City Clerk.

RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of the attached ordinance.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Currently, with the approval of the Forest Crew Leader, the City Clerk issues tree contractor licenses. This ordinance will allow the Forest Crew Leader to issue the licenses. This helps the tree contractors by allowing them to go to one location in the City to obtain their license rather than testing and getting approvals in one off site location and returning to the City Clerk's Office for their license.
