ORDINANCE: O-2003-12
SUBJECT: Ordinance vacating a portion of the 24' Service and Emergency Vehicle Access (SEVA) easement lying in Lot 2 of FIRSTBANK HOLDING COMPANY SUBDIVISION FILING NO. 2.
ADDRESS: 1530 Viewpoint Road.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of this vacation.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Due to the proposed construction of an addition to the existing building on the property, a portion of the existing 24' Service and Emergency Vehicle Access (SEVA) easement which was dedicated to the City in 1995 by the original FIRSTBANK HOLDING COMPANY SUBDIVISION, needs to be vacated. For that portion that is to be vacated, a new 24' SEVA will be dedicated by separate instrument to extend the existing easement in a different location and provide a continuous way through the property from Welch Street to Viewpoint Road as it now exists.
