AN ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 0-2002-50 CORRECTING AN ERRONEOUS RECEPTION NUMBER AND FURTHER DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 0-2002-50 pertaining to the acceptance of a commissioners deed from the Jefferson County Commissioners and in said ordinance an erroneous reception number was recited in the first "whereas" paragraph and in Exhibit "A" of said ordinance; and
WHEREAS it is necessary to correct the erroneous Reception Number F162131368 by the correct reception number, which is Reception Number F1621368.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. Reception Number F162131368, which appears in Ordinance No. 0-2002-50 in the first "whereas" paragraph and in Exhibit "A" will be replaced with Reception Number F1621368, and Ordinance 0-2002-50 is amended accordingly.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to record a certified
copy of this Ordinance with the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder.
SECTION 3. Emergency. This ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation
of the City of Lakewood's peace, health and safety in order to allow for the
correction of an error in Ordinance O-2002-50.
I hereby attest and certify that the within and foregoing ordinance was introduced and read on first reading at a regular meeting of the Lakewood City Council on the 24th day of March, 2003; published in full in the Lakewood Sentinel on the 27th, day of March, 2003; set for public hearing on the 14th day of April, 2003; read, finally passed and adopted by the City Council on the 14th day of April, 2003; and signed and approved by the Mayor on the 15th day of April, 2003.
