A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD TO ENTER INTO A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY AND AMX INTERNATIONAL, INC. FOR MANAGEMENT & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the City is in the process of adopting financial management system software; and,

WHEREAS, AMX International, Inc. has agreed to provide consulting services necessary to the implementation of financial management software,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City is hereby authorized to enter into a single source contract with AMX International, Inc. for consulting services. Said contract shall have a not to exceed cost of $900,000.

SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute and the City Clerk to attest a contract, in form approved by the City Attorney, related to the project set forth above.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on December 9, 2002, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
