RESOLUTION: 2002-29
SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing a Revocable License Agreement in City-owned right-of-way for West Radcliff Avenue, to John and Rosemarie Rankin.
ADDRESS: 7400 West Radcliff Avenue.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorization of the requested Revocable License Agreement.
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND OF SUBJECT MATTER: Mr. and Mrs. Rankin, 7400 West Radcliff
Avenue, have requested that the City grant them a Revocable License agreement
for a rock pillar that holds their mailbox and planter box. The stone pillar
and planter box were constructed to help blend the mailbox into the theme of
their landscaping improvements. This improvement is within the unused right-of-way
for West Radcliff Avenue. This portion of the right-of-way is currently not
being used and is being maintained by Mr. and Mrs. Rankin as part of their front
yard. The proposal has been reviewed by Traffic Engineering staff, and is acceptable
from the aspect of presenting no hazards or creating other problems.
RESOLUTION ADOPTION DATE: May 13, 2001.
