| Sitting
along the eastern base of the Rocky Mountain foothills, Lakewood’s
residents enjoy big city highlights with the feel of a small community.
Besides the construction of a new award winning downtown district,
Colorado’s 4th largest City, is taking steps toward embracing
the future with a goal of also becoming a digital community.
Lakewood
has joined nine other neighboring communities in an initiative to
attract private investors to construct a high-speed wireless communications
network that will serve and benefit all citizens: businesses, residents,
educational institutions; and as a means to accelerate electronic/efficient
e-government.
Along
with the City of Lakewood, Civitium,
LLC conducted research and reports the findings and community
feedback about Lakewood’s future as a Digital Community. The
report is available below separated by section for your convenience.
