Construction activity and use of construction and other power equipment at night is generally prohibited in Lakewood. If it is necessary to consider working between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., an exemption must first be obtained. Requests for an exemption may be conveyed via any one of the following:

The information provided must include:

1. Requesting entity.
2. Contact person and phone number.
3. Location of the work.
4. Reasons night work is being requested.
5. Type of activities proposed to occur at night.
6. Equipment proposed to be used at night.
7. Start date and end date proposed.
8. Total number of nights work is proposed to occur.

Submit your request at least two weeks prior to the proposed night work start date. If the exemption request is approved, you will receive a letter confirming the exemption and imposing any necessary conditions.
