Jury Service

All citizens ages eighteen and older residing in Lakewood are eligible for jury service.

To change the date of Jury Service please contact the Court at (303) 987-7407.

Jurors are paid: $3 to appear for jury service $6 to serve on jury trial.

Jury trials are routinely scheduled on Fridays at 8:00AM.

Potential jurors are subpoenaed for one trial. Once the jury trial is completed or if the trial is canceled the jury service ends.

Each Juror will be given a Jury Notebook outlining the trial procedures and expectations.

Failure to report for Jury Service will result in the issuance of a Contempt of Court Citation.
