Seasonal Park Naturalist
The City of Lakewood is currently accepting applications for seasonal
Park Naturalists. The position involves conducting educational programs
at Bear Creek Lake Park and assisting at the Visitor Center. The hours
will be approximately 20 hours the spring and fall and approximately
32-40 hours in the summer. Duties include planning, researching, preparing
materials for, and conducting interpretive programs for groups of
adults and children. This position also supports the management of
Bear Creek Lake Park by greeting visitors, answering phones, selling
park passes, taking reservations and communicating with park personnel
in the field. This job requires working nights, weekends and holidays.
We are looking for motivated applicants with prior park naturalist
experience or, students that have completed, or are in the process
of completing, a degree in a related field.
• Salary $11.77/hr DOE/DOQ
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• First Aid and CPR certification (may be provided)
• Valid Colorado Driver's License and good motor vehicle record
required
• Criminal background check required
