Head Instructor/Coach
Salary:
$8.48/hr
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Head Instructor/Coach is to coordinate,
instruct, and supervise the fundamental skills of outdoor soccer.
Essential Functions:
• Develop and implement a schedule for every practice/meeting.
• Prepare and conduct practice sessions.
• Communicate program information to participants and parents.
• Supervise and support assistant coaches, as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of equipment and facility.
• Maintain a safe and controlled environment.
• Attend to accidents and emergency/crisis; complete necessary
reports for all incidents.
• Maintain all necessary forms, paperwork and attendance records
of participants.
• Follow through with rain-out policy as needed; cancels practices/games
on-site when necessary.
• Updates rain-out line as appropriate and updates supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the program area.
• Inventory and maintain all program equipment.
• Distribute Coaches and Player Manuals.
• Distribute t-shirts to players and coaches.
• Consult with Supervisor as necessary on City, department,
division and policies and procedures.
• Maintain on-going communication with Supervisor regarding
program status.
• Officiate as necessary
• Distributes and collects program evaluations
Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
Certification in CPR and 1st Aid is preferred
Background check is required.
Willing and able to work various hours including
nights (4-7pm) and weekends (Saturday 9am-4pm)
