The City completed a nine-month public process to improve the Subdivision Documents, which were adopted on June 22, 2009 by the City Council and effective on July 27, 2009. The Subdivision Documents include the following items:

The Subdivision Ordinance specifies the requirements for dividing and consolidating property. |

The Users' Guide to Subdivision is a supplementary handout to the Subdivision Ordinance that provides general information about the purpose of and process for a subdivision application. |

The Plat Specifications (Word document or PDF) is a technical document for professionals who prepare subdivision plats. It contains a checklist of required elements that must appear on a plat, general notes and signature blocks, a sample plat and AutoCAD template. |

The Tri-Fold Brochure provides basic information about subdividing in Lakewood. |
