Lakewood's Comprehensive Plan

The Lakewood Comprehensive Plan is an advisory document that guides the development and redevelopment of the City of Lakewood. It sets policies for community identity, image and design; land use, growth and redevelopment; environment, parks and open space; transportation and infrastructure, and the overall planning process. The lakewood Comprehensive Plan is a set of goals, policies, and action steps that provides guidance to the Planning Commission and City Council when making land use decisions. It is intended to improve and enhance the City's economic viability, livability, and sustainability.
