Open, honest, two-way communication with Lakewood residents is a Core Community Value for Lakewood City Council members and City of Lakewood employees.

As part of that communication, the City Manager's Office works to resolve service requests, complaints and questions through a central contact person, who assigns service requests to City staff and tracks them to ensure timely response and resolution.

Service requests may be communicated directly from citizens or referred by members of City Council.
