A vital initiative of the City Manager's Office through mid-2010 is partnering with the U.S. Census Bureau to build awareness of and increase participation in the upcoming 2010 U.S. Census.

Mayor Bob Murphy has appointed a diverse group of community and business leaders to serve as Lakewood's Complete Count Committee for Census 2010. The Committee wil be working through the community and the City Manager's Office to encourage Lakewood residents to exercise their Constitutional right to be counted in the national census.
