NOTICE OF REGULAR
MUNICIPAL ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON November 3, 2009, the City of Lakewood will hold a regular municipal election to be held as a coordinated election in conjunction with Jefferson County, for the purpose of voting on city council members in all five wards of the city and to vote on retention of Lakewood Municipal Court judges.  The election will be conducted as a mail ballot election.  A ballot drop-off box will be available at the City Clerk’s Office, 480 South Allison Parkway, beginning October 12, 2009 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday and from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.  Ballots may also be mailed to the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder’s Office.

Eligibility for voting in the City of Lakewood:  persons must be registered by October 5, 2009; must be a citizen of the United States; 18 years of age; and a resident of the City of Lakewood for at least 30 days prior to election date.  For further information, contact the Lakewood City Clerk’s Office at 303-987-7080.
