2.36.010 Police retirement and disability benefits.
The city shall provide, for the sworn police officers, agents and recruits of
the City of Lakewood, both retirement benefits and disability benefits by sponsoring
and making employer contributions to the City of Lakewood Police Pension Plan
and by sponsoring the Police Duty Death and Disability Trust, in accordance
with the terms and provisions of such plans, as were in effect under this code
on December 31, 1992, and as may be subsequently adopted, amended or restated
pursuant to the terms of the plans. (Ord. O-95-17 § 1, 1995; Ord. O-93-9
§ 2, 1992).
