Lakewood Heritage Center showcases
the history of Lakewood and the many changes, inventions and
lifestyles of the 20th century. Located in Belmar Park, the museum has
over 10 historic structures, 30,000 artifacts, a festival area and
an outdoor amphitheater.

Taste of the West is Jefferson County’s premier culinary event featuring award-winning cuisine from more than 30 restaurants and caterers, and a beer garden highlighting local breweries! The Lakewood Heritage Center is once again hosting Rockin’ Block Party, a free, fun-filled evening full of games, live music and a movie under the stars preceded by an afternoon of valuing your antiques and keepsakes and honoring our military’s history. The full day’s schedule is:

Hot pickin’ bluegrassNashville-based, Hit & Run, fronted by Rebecca and John Frazier, formed in Boulder in 2001 with the desire to play “authentic yet modern” bluegrass. Their appeal comes from their youthful energy combined with polished vocals, hot picking and their contemporary sound. Tastefully interpreting traditional bluegrass tunes and skillfully crafting original songs, they were the first band to win both the Rockygrass Band Competition and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest.
