Buckets and Tap Shoes -- a unique company of musicians, percussionists and rhythm tap dancers -- has astounded audiences, creating intense driving rhythms with 5-gallon buckets, metal cans, barrels, found objects and tap shoes.

Summer Concert Series Sounds Exciting!

Wednesday evenings comes alive with the Ninth Annual Sounds Exciting! Summer Concert Series. An eclectic mix of musicians will perform from June 25 through July 30 at the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater at Lakewood's Heritage Center in Belmar Park, 801 S. Yarrow St. Enjoy a casual, family-friendly atmosphere with a variety of musical styles ranging from a tribute to "The King" to hot Salsa.

  • June 25: The Hazel Miller Band - Lakewood favorite and Colorado legend
  • July 2: The Indulgers - Irish rock music
  • July 9: Conjunto Colores - Colorado's hottest Salsa & Latin Jazz Band
  • July 16: Endre and the Living Vision Band - High energy interactive Elvis Tribute Show
  • July 23: Buckets and Tap Shoes - Part dance company, part band and all rhythm
  • July 30: Sophie Milman - International jazz/pop vocal sensation

Concert Reminders

  • All concerts are held on Wednesday evenings starting at 7 p.m.
  • Gates open at 6 p.m. with plenty of free parking available.
  • There is no structured seating available, feel free to bring your own chair or blanket.
  • A limited seating area will be available for chairs with the top of the back of the chair measuring more than 32 inches from the ground to facilitate viewing by all patrons.
  • A variety of affordable food options available for purchase, or feel free to bring your own picnic.
  • Wine, beer, water and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
  • No pets, glass containers or bicycles allowed in the gated area.
  • Programs subject to change.
  • Season discounts apply to adult tickets only. Adult tickets include adults, seniors and students 13 & over. Programs will be held rain or shine and are subject to change. No refunds or exchanges. All phone, fax, mail and online orders subject to $4.00 handling charge. Online orders also subject to a per ticket service charge.
