Goal: Double Donor Blood Supplies for National Event

With Denver hosting the 2008 Democratic National Convention, the need for blood supplies in the metro area will double. Lakewod's largest private employer, CaridianBCT, formerly known as Gambro BCT, is hosting a community blood drive on August 15 to help Bonfils Blood Center meet the demand. Donating blood only takes 10 minutes, but you can truly save a life. Call to schedule an appointment today!

When: 8 a.m.-1:40 p.m. on Friday, August 15.

Where: Signature Centre, 14143 Denver West Parkway, Lakewood

How to participate: Call Bonfils Appointment Center at 303-363-2300 and reference Aug. 15 CaridianBCT Signature Drive to schedule your appointment. If your preferred time is booked, Bonfils will schedule you to donate at the Denver West CDC center across the street.
