Lakewood police detectives, with assistance from the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, have identified a body that was found in Bear Creek Lake Park on Sunday, as 52-year-old Karen Louise Gallery.

Gallery, who was a Lakewood resident, had been reported missing by her family on May 18.

Detectives will await autopsy results to determine the cause and manner of Gallery's death. The Coroner's office is expected to perform the autopsy later this week.
