Winner of multiple international jazz vocal competitions, Cyrille Aimée has been called “one of the most promising jazz singers of her generation” by The Wall Street Journal. Hailing from Samois-sur-Seine, France, Aimée began performing in the clubs and cafes of Paris when she was still a teenager. Her enchanting performances feature original songs as well as jazz standards, and the style of music is part jazz, part gypsy and part Brazilian. Her voice and her captivating stage presence are enthralling and unforgettable.

Annual Sister Cities Music Scholar Concert
The Sister Cities Music Scholar Competition winners showcase the outstanding talent of young people between the ages of 16 and 23 from Jefferson County and Chester, England. The two winners perform with the Lakewood Symphony during our season and in the summer they both perform in Chester, England. Many lifelong international friendships have been formed through these cultural exchanges.
