Welcome, and thank you for visiting Lakewood’s Department of Community Resources. Whether you’re looking for arts or recreation programs for kids or adults, hours of operation for your favorite park or facility, tickets to a cultural performance, or the perfect location to host your event, our website has been updated and improved to help you find what you need.
We administer and maintain more than 99 parks, playgrounds, and open spaces throughout the City, including over 36 miles of trails for walking, biking, and horseback riding. We offer 4 large, full-complex recreation centers, eight swimming pools, two golf courses and hundreds of tennis courts, ball diamonds, athletic fields and basketball courts. Also included in the Department's responsibilities are the Lakewood Cultural Center, Washington Heights Arts Center, and Lakewood’s Heritage Center…a 20th Century Museum, offering a wide array of arts, culture, and history-related programming.
I invite you to take some time to explore our site and find out what opportunities await you in our beautiful city of Lakewood. We pride ourselves in offering facilities and programs that enhance the lives of Lakewood residents and look forward to seeing you soon.
