Colfax Marathon

Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17, 2015

Metro Denver's springtime marathon is in its 10th year! The 26.2 mile marathon course features a spectacular run through the home of the Denver Broncos: Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. Fantastic scenery includes seven miles of rivers and lakes, eclectic neighborhoods, historic Lakewood, downtown Denver and bustling Colfax Avenue -- all under the majestic Colorado Rockies! 26.2 miles at 5,280 feet elevation!

Last year, approximately 10,000 people ran through Lakewood. With the thousands of runners came countless spectators, special events, and more. Thanks to our citizens, around 150 volunteers, and the efforts of the Lakewood Police Department, the Lakewood portion of the Colfax Marathon was an immense success. The marathon was a fun, entertaining, and safe experience for all. There were no marathon related traffic accidents throughout the entire event.  Let's try for the same success in 2016!
