A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE JEFFERSON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. R-1 REGARDING RAY ROSS PARK AND DEANE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has adopted a Master Plan for the redevelopment of Ray Ross Park which extends onto Deane Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood and the Jefferson County School District No. R-1 desire to jointly utilize and maintain the joint use area on Deane Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood desires to construct the planned improvements shown in the Ray Ross Park Master Plan in 2008.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest in the form approved by the City Attorney, an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Jefferson County School District No. R-1 for the construction and maintenance of the improvements at Ray Ross Park on Deane Elementary School.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 For and 0 Against at a regular meeting of the City Council on April 14, 2008, at 7 o'clock p.m. at the Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
