AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 2.20.050 F. OF THE LAKEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO COMPENSATION
OF THE MUNICIPAL JUDGES
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. Section 2.20.050 F. of the Lakewood Municipal Code is hereby amended to read in full as follows:
Commencing March 23, 2008, the annual salary of the Presiding Municipal Judge shall be One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-Four Dollars. The annual salary of the Municipal Judges shall be One Hundred Twelve Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-Two Dollars with the exception of the Past Presiding Judge who shall receive One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-Four Dollars.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after final publication. The salaries contained herein shall be effective March 23, 2008.
I hereby attest and certify that the within and foregoing ordinance was introduced and read on first reading at a regular meeting of the Lakewood City Council on the 28th day of July, 2008; published by title in the Rocky Mountain News and in full on the City of Lakewood's website, www.lakewood.org, on the 31st day of July, 2008; set for public hearing on the 11th day of August, 2008 read, finally passed and adopted by the City Council on the 11th day of August, 2008, and, signed and approved by the Mayor on the 12th day of August, 2008.
