A RESOLUTION

FOR ACCEPTANCE OF A WARRANTY DEED FROM CARMA LAKEWOOD, LLC, CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD TWO TRACTS OF LAND ALONG COYOTE GULCH SOUTH OF IRON SPRING PARK.

WHEREAS, Carma Lakewood, LLC, has tendered to the City of Lakewood an executed Warranty Deed for conveyance of two tracts of land along Coyote Gulch intended as a buffer between the Solterra development and existing homes to the East. The conveyance was tied to the approval by City Council of vested rights to develop the project;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City of Lakewood does hereby accept, for municipal and park purposes, a Warranty Deed from Carma Lakewood, LLC, to the City of Lakewood conveying real property as generally described in Exhibit A and more specifically described in said deed. Said real property is approximately 2.6136 acres and is shown on Exhibit A as Tracts H and J.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution and executed Warranty Deed with the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on December 10, 2007, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Civic Center South, Lakewood, Colorado.
