A RESOLUTION

REAPPOINTING BARBARA TEICH AND JOHN BUCKLEY TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ALAMEDA CORRIDOR BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.

WHEREAS, by Ordinance O-2003-18 the City Council organized the Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District (the "District"); and,

WHEREAS, the said Ordinance O-2003-18 provided among other things for City Council to appoint electors of the District to the District Board of Directors upon nominations submitted to City Council by the Board of Directors; and,

WHEREAS, Barbara Teich and John Buckley have served as Directors of the Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District for terms which will expire on June 30, 2007; and,

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has nominated Barbara Teich and John Buckley to serve for new terms of three years commencing July 1, 2007 and Barbara Teich and John Buckley are electors of the District.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The above and foregoing recitals are incorporated herein by reference and are adopted as findings and determinations of the City Council.

SECTION 2. Barbara Teich and John Buckley are appointed to the Board of Directors of the District, to serve until June 30, 2010.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on June 25, 2006, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, Civic Center South, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
