A RESOLUTION
APPOINTING JAMES PEREZ FOSTER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ALAMEDA CORRIDOR BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance O-2003-18 the City Council organized the Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District (the "District"); and,
WHEREAS, the said Ordinance O-2003-18 provided among other things for City Council to appoint electors of the District to the District Board of Directors upon nominations submitted to City Council by the Board of Directors; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has nominated James Perez Foster to serve for a terms of three years commencing July 1, 2007 and expiring June 30, 2010, and he is an elector of the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The above and foregoing recitals are incorporated herein by reference and are adopted as findings and determinations of the City Council.
SECTION 2. James Perez Foster is appointed to the Board of Directors of the District, to serve until June 30, 2010.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on June 25, 2007, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, Civic Center South, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
