A RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING THE CREATION OF THE LAKEWOOD COLFAX CORRIDOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND APPOINTING MEMBERS THERETO

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lakewood wishes to create an ad hoc committee for the purpose of identifying a set of development principles that will help guide the future development along the West Colfax Corridor; and;

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lakewood wishes to involve a diverse group of business, residential, governmental, and other concerned parties in the process.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The Lakewood Colfax Corridor Advisory Committee is hereby established for the purpose of identifying a set of development principles that will guide the future development along the West Colfax Corridor.

SECTION 2. The Lakewood Colfax Corridor Advisory Committee shall present their proposed set of development principles to the Lakewood City Council for approval.

SECTION 3. The following persons are hereby appointed as members to the Lakewood Colfax Corridor Advisory Committee and will serve as members of said Committee until its dissolution by the City Council:

Robert Murphy, Barbara Martin, Buddy Douglass, Felipe Duran, Susan McConnell, William Marino, Katy Moser, Tom Murray, Nancy Nicholas, Gene Osborn, Mary Ann Proctor, Pam Purvis, Nina Rockley, David Ruchma, Vicki Stack, Doug Stiverson, Stephen C. Sumner, Bill Torez, Sharon Vincent, Mary Vodneck, Fran Yehle, Steve Disciullo, Cassiope Sydoriak, Barbara Barry

SECTION 4. Mayor Steve Burkholder is hereby appointed as Ex-officio member to the Lakewood Colfax Corridor Advisory Committee.

SECTION 5. The Lakewood Colfax Corridor Advisory Committee will inform the Lakewood City Council of all Committee meetings and agendas. The Lakewood Colfax Corridor Advisory Committee will provide written minutes of their meetings to City Council.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on April 12, 2004, at 7 o'clock p.m. at the Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
