A RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF A TREASURER'S DEED TO THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD FOR A PORTION OF LAKEWOOD GULCH PARK LOCATED AT WEST 7TH AVENUE AND SHERIDAN BOULEVARD THAT WAS NEVER CONVEYED TO THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD.

WHEREAS, Jefferson County Treasurer, has tendered to the City of Lakewood its Treasurer's Deed dated March 17, 2004, and recorded on March 22, 2004, at Reception Number F1988043, of the records of the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder, conveying a portion of Lakewood Gulch Park located at West 7th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard to the City of Lakewood; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:

SECTION 1. The City of Lakewood does hereby accept, for municipal purposes, the aforesaid Treasurer's Deed bearing acknowledgment dated March 17, 2004.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution with the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 11 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on April 12, 2003, at 7 o'clock p.m. at the Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.

Exhibit "A"

A Parcel of land lying in the Southeast One-quarter (SE¼) of Section 1, Township 4 South, Range 69 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Lakewood, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at that the Southwest corner of Lot 6, CUNNINGHAM-SECCOMBE OFFICE/WEAREHOUSE COMPLEX SUBDIVISION, the plat of which is recorded in Plat Book 77, at Page 4, of the records of the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder; thence N 00º16'16" E (assuming the East line of said SE¼ bears N 00º16'16" E, all other bearings hereafter related thereto), a distance of 0.22 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 89º56'03" W, a distance of 3.65 feet, more or less, to the Southeast corner of Parcel B of that tract of land conveyed to the City of Lakewood described in that instrument recorded at Reception Number F0629443, and re-recorded at Reception Number F0856547, of said records; thence N 00º16'16" E along the East line of said tract, a distance of 165.00 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner of said tract, said corner also lying on a southerly line of said CUNNINGHAM-SECCOMBE OFFICE/WEAREHOUSE COMPLEX SUBDIVISION; thence N 89º56'03" W along said southerly line, a distance of 3.65 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of Lot 6, said CUNNINGHAM-SECCOMBE OFFICE/WEAREHOUSE COMPLEX SUBDIVISION; thence S 00º16'16" W along the West line of said Lot 6, a distance of 165.00 feet, more or less, to the True point of Beginning.
