A RESOLUTION
ESTABLISHING CERTAIN FEES FOR THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD
WHEREAS, Title 17 of the City of Lakewood Municipal Code directs the City Council to establish, by Resolution, fees for any appeal, process, procedure, or other action relating to the Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Title 16 of the City of Lakewood Municipal Code directs the City Council to establish, by Resolution, fees for any appeal, process, procedure, or other action relating to the Subdivision Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, The City of Lakewood will increase fees annually based on the increase in the cost of living (this year based on a 4% increase).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. The following fees are hereby established for processing land use cases, effective October 21, 2002.

Rezoning $625.00 per acre calculated to nearest 1/10 acre $625.00 minimum
to $10,000 maximum
Written Zoning Verifications $16.00 per request
Modification to ODP $625.00 Administrative review $935.00 Planning Commission
review$1,250.00 City Council review
Phased Site Plan in Planned Developments $315.00 per acre calculated to nearest
1/10 acre $315.00 minimum to $10,000 maximum
Special Use Permits $625.00 per application
Site Plan $315.00 per acre calculated to nearest 1/10 of an acre $315.00 minimum
to $10,000 maximum
Variance/Appeals $250.00 major variance/appeal $125.00 minor variance/appeal
Pre-Application *$125.00 each
Preliminary Map **$250.00 per lot or tract created for Single-Family Residential**$625.00
for a Multi-family or Commercial subdivision plus $125 per acre, calculated
to the nearest 1/10 of an acre
Final Plat **$250.00 per lot or tract created for Single-Family Residential**$625.00
for a Multi-family or Commercial subdivision plus $125 per acre, calculated
to the nearest 1/10 of an acre
Lot Line Adjustment Plat $250.00 per lot included

Change of Address Upon Request of Property Owner $105.00 per address changed

Review of an Alteration to a Designated Landmark17-11-17(1) $52 per application
* If a complete formal development case is submitted within six (6) months
of the submittal of a pre-application review, the $120.00 pre-application
review fee will be credited towards the formal development review fee.
** If a final plat application is submitted within six (6) months after a
preliminary map application is approved, the final plat application fee will
be waived. If a preliminary map and final plat application are submitted for
review at the same time, the final plat application fee will be waived.
SECTION 2. Upon application to the City Manager, the City Manager may waive or reduce fees established by this resolution if such action will further the economic goals of the City as set forth in Section 3.26.010 of the Lakewood Municipal Code. Such finding shall be made in writing.
SECTION 3. The preceding fees shall not be refunded in whole or in part,
unless the application was accepted due to an error on the part of the City
staff.
INTRODUCED, READ, AND ADOPTED by a vote of 10 for and 0 against at a regular
meeting of the City Council on October 14, 2002, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood
Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
