A RESOLUTION

FOR AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE MUNICIPAL COURT REMODEL AND RENOVATION AT THE PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER.

WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood wishes to complete remodeling and renovation work with the Municipal Court areas of the Public Safety Center, and

WHEREAS, professional design and architectural services will be required for the remodel and renovation work, and

WHEREAS, the City wishes to use the design and architectural services of H+L Architecture for this remodel and renovation work.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lakewood, Colorado that:

SECTION 1. The proposal from H+L Architecture for design and architectural services for the Municipal Court remodel and renovation is hereby accepted according to the scope of work delineated in the proposal.

SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and the City Clerk to attest, a contract with H+L Architecture in form approved by the City Attorney in the amount of Fifty-nine Thousand, Ninety-one Dollars ($59,091).

SECTION 3. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to make payment to H+L Architecture in accordance with the terms of said contract.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by a vote of 10 for and 0 against at a regular meeting of the City Council on August , 2002, at 7 o'clock p.m. at Lakewood Civic Center, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.
