AN ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.20.050 F. OF THE LAKEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING
TO COMPENSATION OF THE MUNICIPAL JUDGES
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Colorado, that:
SECTION 1. Section 2.20.050 F. of the Lakewood Municipal Code is hereby amended and shall be as follows:
Commencing March 31, 2002, the annual salary of the Presiding Municipal Judge shall be One Hundred Four Thousand Two-Hundred Eighty Three Dollars, which includes compensation for administrative duties assigned to the Presiding Municipal Judge; and the annual salary of the Municipal Judges shall be Ninety Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Dollars. The hourly rate for the Associate Municipal Judges shall be Sixty-Five Dollars per hour.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after final publication. The salaries contained herein shall be retroactive to March 31, 2002.
I hereby attest and certify that the within and foregoing ordinance was introduced and read on first reading at a regular meeting of the Lakewood City Council on the 22nd day of April, 2002; published in full in the Lakewood Sentinel on the 25th day of April 2002; set for public hearing on the 13th day of May, 2002; read, finally passed and adopted by the City Council on the13th day of May, 2002; and signed and approved by the Mayor on the 14th day of May, 2002.
