The Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) FasTracks regional transportation plan for the West Rail Line is the first line to begin construction . In all, 119 miles of new light rail, commuter rail and bus rapid transit lines will be developed within the Denver metropolitan area. These improvements will add to the Denver metro area’s existing 36 miles of light rail.
