Youth Lessons

Review the Swim Lesson description document to learn more about the different class levels available and to help find the proper course for your little swimmer. It is common for a child to repeat a level.

Please review the Swim Lesson schedule for session dates and times. Please note that any lesson not meeting minimum participation numbers will be canceled the Thursday prior to the session start date.

When a student passes Advanced Preschool, he/she should be enrolled in Level 2 or Level 3 based on the instructor's suggestion. They should not be enrolled in Level 1 after completing Advanced Preschool as it is actually a lower level class.

Adult Lessons

Adult/Teen Fundamentals: Participants aged 16 and older with no previous experience should join the Adult/Teen Fundamentals program. This class is designed to orient participants to the swimming environment and help them acquire basic swimming skills.

Adult/Teen Development: Completed the Adult/Teen Fundamentals or can demonstrate all Adult/Teen Fundamentals requirement.

Adult/Teen Refinement: Must have completed the Adult/Teen Fundamentals class or be able to demonstrate all the Adult/Teen Fundamental class requirements. This class is designed to refine strokes so participants swim them with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances. Prior swimming experience is required.

All Instructor/Student ratios meet current American Red Cross safety guidelines.
