The City of Lakewood is committed to providing the public with convenient access to information about City operations. A wide variety of commonly requested documents are provided on this website.

The City Clerk’s Office is the official contact for requesting public records not provided on this website. The City provides public records according to Colorado Open Records Act requirements. 

If you are seeking police records or municipal court records, please contact those departments directly. 
        

REQUESTING PUBLIC RECORDS

To inspect a City record, fill out a public records request form and submit it to the Lakewood City Clerk’s Office. Be as specific as possible about the record you are seeking. If this applies to environmental records, please fill out an environmental release record form. Fees may apply to records requests.
