The Crimes against Person’s section consists of three investigative units:

The Major Crimes Team investigates violent crimes committed by adults to include domestic violence, assault, harassment, sex assault, robbery, and homicide.

The Crimes against Children Team investigates crimes committed against juveniles, including child abuse, sex assault, and child neglect.

The Juvenile Crime Team is responsible for the investigation of crimes committed by a juvenile suspect and conducts necessary follow-up investigation on juvenile runaways. The unit also fields a team of School Resource Officers and takes part in a variety of proactive & preventive programs.
