Lakewood police detectives are asking for assistance in their efforts to identify a man and woman pictured on security camera images. They are believed to have used credit cards taken in an overnight burglary that occurred in western Lakewood.
At about 10:00 pm on June 22nd a Lakewood couple arrived at their residence and forgot to close the garage door. Early the next morning they were contacted by credit card company representatives who were suspicious of early morning transactions involving the couple’s credit cards.
In checking for their credit cards, the couple realized someone had apparently entered their residence during the night and taken cash and credit cards.
Shortly after 6:00 am on June 23rd credit cards belonging to the couple were used at a King Soopers store in the area of Sheridan Blvd & Hampden Ave. Images of the man and woman using the stolen credit cards were captured on security cameras at the king Soopers location.
Detectives are asking anyone who feels they can assist in identifying the man and/or woman pictured below to please call Detective McGlynn at 303-987-7244.
