Artisan Showcase at Lakewood Cultural Center
On Sunday, May 5, the Artisan Showcase at the Lakewood Cultural Center will close its doors as a consignment store that features original works by local artists. Lakewood's Heritage, Culture and the Arts Division (HCA) is excited to make operational changes in response to a growing need for a flexible gallery space that will serve as an exhibition space to celebrate the accomplishments of local amateur artists through special community exhibits and be available to local artists for a nominal fee on a monthly basis. The HCA Division expects to debut this new program in the fall.
Take advantage of the closeout sale offering gifts and works of art up to 40 percent off Thursday, April 25 - Sunday, May 5 (closed Mondays.) The store is open 10 a.m. - 2 p.m , Tuesday - Saturday and during performances through intermission. Items include jewelry, pottery, cards, specialty items and Middle Kingdom ceramics.
For more information, please call 303-987-7877 or HCA@Lakewood.org.
Sponsored by the Lakewood Heritage, Culture and the Arts Division and the SCFD - with appreciation to the citizens of the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
