Thefourth annual Grin and Bear It race is a family friendly adventure where teams of two will compete in one of two divisions: Adult (16-plus years old) or adult/youth (5-15 years old). Both divisions will complete a paddleboat/canoe/kayak water crossing and a 6-7 mile mountain bike course. The adult division will then complete a 2-3 mile run, while the adult/youth participants will get their running in during a fun scavenger hunt. With more than 2,600 acres, three lakes for boating, swimming and fishing, more than 15 miles of hiking, biking and horse trails, plus a variety of picnic and camping facilities, the park offers something for just about everyone.

Bear Creek Lake Park, at Morrison Road and C-470, presents residents with an opportunity to get a close-up view of nature only minutes from their front doors.
