Neighborhood Organizations

Register your Neighborhood Organization!

The City of Lakewood encourages neighborhood organizations to take an active role in setting directions for their neighborhoods. Through registered neighborhood organizations citizens have opportunities to become involved in local government and strengthen their community.

Benefits of participating in a registered neighborhood organization include:

  • Receiving notification about proposed land-use changes within or near the neighborhood's boundaries
  • Improved communication with neighbors
  • A raised awareness of the neighborhood's needs, concerns and desires.

Registered organizations are required to register yearly with the City. The 2014 re-registration process is now underway.

The 2014 Neighborhood Re-Register form is available online.
