Historical Luncheons

Immerse yourself in short documentary of Oceanic life and stereotypes in film, followed by a Skype Q&A with director! The Lakewood Heritage Center and the International Institute for Indigenous Resource Management partner for a presentation that speaks to diversity and unique perspectives. Film that is written, made and directed by indigenous peoples is an expressive medium to communicate messages about who indigenous people were, who they are and who they are striving to become.

Buffalo Bill Experience

Presented by Jeff Norman. In his nationally acclaimed living history presentation, Colorado-based author of “Re-enacting!” and Buffalo Bill reenactor and impersonator “Gunny” Jeff Norman guides audiences down the untamed frontier trail that was Buffalo Bill Cody’s life, in a costumed one-man play that’s as entertaining as it is informative.

John Fielder is excited to present an all new multimedia slide show for the holidays! You will feel the need to wear your parka while hearing stories of life on the winter trail and viewing over 200 of John’s most sublime winter photographs from his new book A Colorado Winter.
