Located in the heart of Lakewood next to the Belmar shopping district, the Lakewood Cultural Center offers a unique setting for any community or business event. Our onsite staff will take special care to ensure that all your facility needs are met.

Performance Theater Rental

  • An event period is a maximum of 5 hours and does not include rehearsal.
  • All theater ticketing must be handled through the Lakewood Cultural Center Box Office and is assessed additional fees.
  • Certificate of Insurance is required.
  • Labor and equipment fees may apply.

 

Room Rentals

  • A building supervisor is present for room rentals and is included in the rental fees.

Alcohol Policy

The Village Roaster holds the exclusive liquor license for the Lakewood Cultural Center; therefore, all sale or service of alcoholic beverages, including donated liquor, must be coordinated through them. Per Colorado regulations, no alcoholic beverages may be brought inside or taken out of the Lakewood Cultural Center, except by Village Roaster. The Village Roaster may be contacted at 303-238-8718.

 

Food and Beverage Policy

All food and beverage served in the Lakewood Cultural Center must be provided by a licensed, professional caterer. Caterer must be in good standing with the Lakewood Cultural Center. We retain the right to refuse caterers who violate Lakewood Cultural Center policies. No 'potluck' food may be served. The Cultural Center has a kitchen for staging, but it is not a catering kitchen or cooking facility. The tenant is liable for caterer at all times. No food can be sold within the Lakewood Cultural Center, other than by the contracted concessionaire. Notification of chosen caterer must be provided to the Cultural Center no later than ten (10) business days before the event date.

 

Cancellation Policy

Tenant shall provide at least fourteen (14) days written notice to the City representative in the event of cancellation. More information.
