| Camp Paha provides a 1:3 staff to camper ratio according
to the needs of your child. Campers who require a 1:1 staff to camper
ratio must provide a caregiver either through the parent, school
or supporting organization (i.e. DDRC).
We provide the following staff to supervise and
work with your camper:

Camp Specialists:
Aquatics, Arts & Crafts, Music & Drama, Sports & Games,
Nature, & Outdoor Skills
Counseling Staff:
Head Counselors, Counselors, Assistant Counselors, & Counselors
In Training
Healthcare Staff:
Full-time Registered Nurse on the site during camp hours and a
Nurses Assistant or Student Nurse.
Administrative Staff:
Executive Director, Camp Director, 2 Assistant Directors, Behavior
Specialist & Transportation Staff
Staff at Camp Paha receive training in the following areas: CPR,
First Aid, Disability Awareness, Medication Administration, physical
and personal care, team building, diversity training, problem
solving skills, behavior management, leadership & supervision,
and decision making skills.
Our staff are energetic, fun, creative, caring, patient and responsible
young people who are excited about providing a safe, fun and quality
day camp experience for your camper. Many of our staff are majoring
in, or have interests in the following areas: special education,
therapeutic recreation, physical therapy, occupational therapy,
nursing, pre-med and other allied health fields.
